“Margaret is a neighbourhood restaurant but it’s also evolved into something more than that. At its core, it’s about comfort, generosity and cosiness.”

—Neil Perry

Our Menu

At Margaret, we work with the best quality produce that Australia has to offer. Neil has spent years developing relationships with some of the best suppliers in the country. We are predominantly a seafood restaurant and are very fortunate to receive our seafood direct from our fishermen, caught sustainably and dry filleted here onsite at Margaret, so we can ensure that all that love and care our wonderful fisherman have taken is seen all the way through. The menu at Margaret is diverse and inspired by all the flavours that Neil has been collecting over his 45+ years in the industry.

We also offer private event bookings for Next Door and Baker Bleu. For more information, please refer to our Events section.

Next Door

Next Door is the sister restaurant of Margaret, which, quite literally, sits next door to it at the corner of Bay St and Guilfoyle Ave. It features a rolling 12-hour lunch-to-dinner service and is home to the famous Perry hamburger.

Launched in September 2022, Mike and Mia Russell, in partnership with Neil Perry, opened Baker Bleu’s first Sydney store, alongside Margaret and Next Door serving the staples of coffee, sourdough bread and pastries, with a carefully curated range of seasonal sandwiches and pantry essentials.

Hope Hospitality Foundation exists to provide people who are vulnerable with a wholesome meal, free of charge. It currently provides 5,000 meals per week to people in need across Sydney.
